@colinmarshall
Hi,
Thank you for your feedback!
Q: Daily Plan is nice, but I would much rather be able to put an estimated time on every single task.
A: Where do you point to when you said "every single task"? Is it in Daily Plan or any where in Doit.im?
Shall you need any help or have additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact me back.
Thank you for your support!
Best regards,
Doit.im Team

Anywhere in Doit.im.

This feature would be great. Now I use tags (10 mn, 20 mn etccc). It helps me select quick tasks when when I don't have very much time.

@joaquinmari That's a great tip and I will probably implement that in my own task management. Thank you.

Thanks to you for your suggestion @colinmarshall , a time field for all tasks would be the best. :-))

FWIW - we are all different - I can tell you that when I have previously used apps that had a length (duration) field I never used it (Nirvana, Toodledo, RTM). For me, it takes too much time to estimate and enter, and I find it quite unreliable as well.
In general I believe a lot in not having more than tree levels of anything, and to have the Normal (Medium) level apply by default, unless I explicitly code for one of the exceptional levels, High or Low. This saves a lot of task entry time in the long run, especially if you tag for many types of different things.
The solution I would prefer for this is to be able to use regular tags and simply not even have a tag at all for the Normal Normal (or Medium) value. In the case of durations, this might be a pair of tags called Long and Short (and no tag at all for those tasks that are Medium length). If I had a NOT filtering feature (e.g. alt-click the tag) I would be able to see whatever I wanted to see. For example, if I want to see only the long tasks I would click the Long tag as usual to see those tasks only; If I want to see both Long and Medium I would click NOT-Short (alt-click the Short tag to hide those tasks, which would leave all the medium and long ones still visible): If I want to see medium only I would have to click NOT-Long NOT-Short (i.e. alt-click both tags to hide all tasks that have either of these) -

@joaquinmari @colinmarshall
HI,
In daily plan,we will show estimated time on every single task. Other places,we will consider it seriously.
Happy New Year. : )
