You also have Tags that you can use for detailed contexts, such as individual people and places, and use the contexts for list grouping purposes based on broader context types. (I currently only use 5 such main contexts, one of these being @Person for anything that requires real-time interaction with another person).
But I agree with you. The Context and Tag features could be harmonized much better, in a way that allows you to both have convenient list groupings and flexible quick filtering using the tag buttons at the top, even for contexts and projects and goals.
One easy way to implement this would be if you could add Tags to Contexts, Projects and Goals and if these Tags were automatically inherited by all of its tasks.
