i'd love to be able to edit a task or project by just double clicking it instead of having to click on the edit button on top -
my request is to either remove the edit button entirely or just add the double click feature to each task for quick edit changes

i know about right clicking, short cuts etc, but all that is still an extra step, to be able to just double click to edit any written text would save a lot of time. i waste time doing the extra steps. please implement this.

I agree. I wish we could edit tasks and projects simply by typing or double clicking. I'd especially like this functionality on the Mac pro version. Thanks!

Now double clicking is for viewing detailed information of the task. We plan to make it possible to edit the task in the viewing page.

Just to clarify.. We plan to make it possible to edit the task in the viewing page.

does this mean that when in the viewing page, you will be able to just click on the task title and can edit without another level? that would be so good, i spend so much time doing one extra click here and there and it would be very useful.
