Hi,
There are three ways provided you to edit a task:

1.Click the Edit icon when you view the task.Please check out the image tutorial here:
2.In the tasks list, right click a task and select to Edit the task.Please check out the image tutorial here:
3.Press “Enter” on the keyboard and you can edit the selected task.
The way that you usually use seems to be the first one. Please have a try the other 2 ways.

Hello,
From topic 1491, we have already indicated you will improve this point. At this stage, you still have two (painful) step to edit task:
1) Task view
2) Task edit.
Why don't you merge these two modes into one single? This would save time to everybody. Please have a look into NirvanaHQ user interface. Not only, it looks better, but also it is more efficient. With on click on the task title (or project or goal), you can view the details and edit at the same time.
When we select to go with a task manager, this kind of details can make the difference.
I hope you will consider improving this point quickly.

Thank you for your feedback!
It has been in our plan to improve this point. In iPhone app and Android app,you can edit the task directly on the task viewing page.
