Filtering-why can I not see the app is thininking, processing?

When using my custom filters, I select the filter to do it's thing, then nothing happens while it is processing.Some hint that it is doing something would be useful. Only if this is easy, as I realize there are bigger fish to fry, but if it's easy, it would be great as some of my filters take a long moment to come back with a list, which is fine, but I want to make sure it has done it's job that it's not hung...

Could you please tell me the name of the filter which does not work by private comments? If convenient to you,please send us the screenshot of the filter box list viewing and the the view of how you set the filter. It will help us much.

I am currently using my other computer which is running xp, so cannot use a windows version as there is not one for xp unfortunately. I am currently ill, recovering in bed, so have to take it easy at some stage soon I'll get the other computer to try it, and send you a screen grab. But basically, the problem was I didn't get any filters at all. So, on the left pane, where it says filter, you click it to open, and there are none there at all. In the web version I have 6 saved filters, that should be enough info really though...

Sorry, as I am ill I am not functioning completely, the above reply was as per the no filtering in windows.

I'll try again for the above query... not seeing if the app is thinking. since posting this I realized it's not just for when a filter is running, it's when the app is thinking about anything. is there not a way to show us that it is thinking, and not having network issues etc? Ie the old turning circle etc to show loading, etc. I find it rather annoying when it is sorting to list a project or something that i am left with no feedback while it loads.

Saying all of this, if will take time away from more fundamental, core improvements, please disregard this, but it would be great if it could be addressed someday.

this is in the web version i am seeing this, not sure about windows, would have to check.
