Why can't you do this now with subtasks? Why can't you create a task called Shopping list and then put whatever items you need to on the list via subtasks? I don't understand what your asking for vs the functionality that currently exist in the most recent version?
If this is to hard, can you add some text format features such as stroked text, bold text etc.

Subtasks exists on all versions of the App (Web, iPhone, iPad, Windows, etc)
For the Web version, when you select a task from one of your lists (like Today, Next, Someday, etc) there is a blank box just below the task title. This section is the are where you can add subtasks. Just put your cursor there and start typing your sub task name and press the enter key. You will enter a subtask and then be taken to the next line to add another subtask. Please take a look at the screen shot below. Make sure you have the most recent version of the App. You do not need to be in Task edit mode to do this. I hope this helps you. -

@nikulin - and with the new version 4 you can even change the order of the subtasks manually by drag-and-drop. Very nice.

God damned!! Many-many thanks to you! I use Doit.im about one year but don't try to click Task title! I click on free space of the task!!!
Now it completely solved, thank you!!
