Unable to install Doit.im Pro 4.0.12 for Windows due to Virus Threat

Hi good people of Doit.im,

I am unable to install the new version pro 4.0.12 for windows (or previous versions 4.0.9 / 4.0.5).

Whenever I run the setup.exe file, the installation wizards starts but then I receive an "Error 1722. There is a problem with this Windows Installer package". Next, I get an alert threat ("SONAR.Heuristic.113") from the anti-virus programme (Symantec Endpoint Protection). Please see attached screenshots with more details.

Grateful if you can address this bug. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Hi,

Many thanks for the quick response.

I have tried installing the new setup file you shared via dropbox, but I am still getting the same errors (windows error 1722 and antivirus threat SONAR.Heuristic.113). I suspect that the antivirus programme falsely detects a file from the doit.im installer as a threat and then 'locks' it so the installer cannot access it any more.

I am unable to temporarily disable the antivirus programme as I do not have admin rights on this particular work station.

Please advise.

I have just tried installing windows version 4.0.22 but the same errors still persist.

Please advise as to when this bug could be fixed as I'd really like to install the latest version.

1. Please stop the anti-virus programme then install the latest version again.

Please do not worry. There are other peope who install apps on windows having the same problems. Here are two solutions which may help you. Please have a try.
