Deadline date is cleared when changeing start date to waiting.
For existing task, when I first set deadline date, and then start date, the deadline date is cleared. I've to set it again.

BTW:
In GTD, Waiting is not a "start date". It simply means that someone else is doing the work. It is someone else's next action. You have it on your list because you need the results of that work and want to make sure you do not forget to check. The work can be assumed to have started already - at least the responsibility to do it has been clearly transferred to the other person. -

I agree with you. Tasks in Waiting do not have start time. It is a state of the task. -
