We have fixed this issue in V4.0.1 which we have submitted to App Store last week. It has been in review. Please update when it is released.
Mac:
Could you please tell me the version of the Mac app? It has a bug before. But we have fixed it in V4.0.3. http://download.doit.im/doit.im.4.0.3.zip

On the desktop app for Mac and the iPhone app I get logged out of my account every 1-2 days. At least have an option to remember my login and password if I choose, or an option to keep me logged in. I'm assuming notifications and reminders aren't received if I am logged out, which can be crucial.
