Hi,
Could you please tell me the content you type in the Smart Add filed by private comments?
Now it can judge the date from the text. If you write 2014.02.14,the start time will be 2014.02.14. Do you mean that you want all tasks added through smart add to go to Inbox?
Thank you for your support!
Best regards,
Doit.im Team

Whenever I use smart add to add a task containing a date, a time or digits in some form, doit.im sorts it under my scheduled tasks. I have tried to fool the system to avoid missing important information when processing what I think is everything I have to keep track of, but without any luck.
For example, I made a quick note about a deadline for something to take it to a planning meeting. I was in the middle of something else and just wanted it later when processing my stuff. But then i found it going through all my lists of everything at the end of the week. AFTER the meeting.
I just want everything I throw at doit.im to go to my inbox, for me to decide what to do with it.
Tell me i'm just missing something here, I can't find where to turn this feature off.

Hi,
Do you mean that you want to close this smart way for adding tasks to Scheduled? -

I too find it annoying that Doit.im reads the inbox task and then puts it on my schedule.
On Android it would be good to have the option to disable smart add but keep the inbox accessible on the notification bar. -

@wendy_only
Hi,
Yes an option so they all go to the inbox even if they contain words like 'Friday' or 'Tomorrow' -

For me this would also be nice. It would allow me to sift through newly added tasks quickly, immediately doing those that take less than 2 minutes in stead of entering them into my next list where they might dwell for quite a while before being important enough to do again.

Hi,
Now tasks to go to Today/Tomorrow/Scheduled according to the date&time words. They will not go to Next.
Do you mean that you want all tasks to go to Inbox?

They go to next if I assign them to an active project that is on next.
Yes, I think tasks should always be added to the inbox unless specified otherwise.
For example, if I quck-add "write proposal chapter one @computer #Thesis !High" I'd like it to be added to inbox (instead of next). But if I write "write proposal chapter one @computer #Thesis !High ^Today" (or ^01-28 or ^Someday) they can be added to that specific box.
The option to add a task to next by typing ^Next would be a really nice addition here. -

@Japhir
Hi,
Now tasks have project information will be automatically added to Next from Inbox. If you have add a task to a project, it means that you have processed this task. After processing, the task should not be left in Inbox.
We will consider your suggestion seriously.

My issue is with quick-add items like "Design meeting on Tuesday" being scheduled for Tuesday rather than being added to the inbox.
I think only the ^ syntax should trigger scheduling e.g "Design meeting ^Tuesday" -
