Cannot complete, delete or edit a recurring task - it appears again after refresh

I have a couple of recurring tasks reappearing in my task list after I complete or delete it. The problem is very similar to http://help.doit.im/topics/2912 that is reported as solved

Windows 8, Google Chrome 32.
