Q: would it be possible to enable turning tasks into subtasks?
A: Turn tasks into subtasks? In which situation will you need to do that?


Q2: when i break a task down to subtasks, i sometimes want to maintain some control over when and where im gonna do those tasks

A: Do you mean that there could be more fields to which allow you to assign when and where you gonna to do suntasks?

lets say i have several tasks which i've made, and that all seem to relate to a specific task (either they're precursors, or elements of it), and that specific task is part of a project... i'd like to be able to simply drag and drop the tasks onto another tasks and have them become subtasks, which brings me to my next point

following what i've said above, this is close to what i have in mind, some way to manage more time consuming subtasks would be a big plus, it could also be solved by implementing sub-projects, also, some indication of subtasks on the main task screen would be nice (expandable Plus button for instance)

For the first one, we will seriously consider it.

Subproject is not in our current plan. :(

well, if an option were added to assign times, and some form of order to subtasks,
it would make the idea of sub-projects redundant, i too think they are unnecessary (subprojects that is), but the subtasks feature needs some imporvement.

We will improve the subtask feature, and some features like manually sorting subtasks...have been listed in our plan. Please be patient.
