This is a great product and I love the windows desktop app. However, I can not use it without ability to attach files via email. All our customer requests come via email and they have attachments. It is a deal breaker for me. I have looked everywhere for a product that is simple and easy to use. This was it. Bummer. Any idea when this feature will be available?

What you can do now is place a web link to the email in your task's notes.
Personally I generally do not like to send the emails straight to my task app because they only seldom have a 1-1 relationship with my tasks. One email can give rise to many tasks, or vice versa: many emails often all relate to an existing task or set of tasks and only result in minor amendments to that task(s). There is no significant advantage for me to be reading my email in my task app. I process it (analyze it) when I read it, and then enter or amend tasks as appropriate. -

Hi All,
I have tested three app, Doit.im, Things and OmniFocus2 and have choosed OmniFocus2 for iPad, iPhone and Mac. Doit.im was the best until learned I could not add files. Sorry, but it is a shame do not implement such features. Guys, in my opinion Doit.im is perfect (almost)! The comments features is amazing to keep updated tasks!
My suggest is: do a very basic integration with Google drive and onedrive! That will help a lot and I'm sure you will convert a lot of new happy customers! This feature could just upload the file to cloud and keep link in the taks! Very simple !
I have saw this request has been done since 2013, so two year! You are so close to have the best app in the segment! So, I challenge you to develop it in two months! I'm sure you can!

I do totally agree with @Thgbrb . File attachment is an essential feature. Once you add onedrive, dropbox and gdocs attachments, then app is perfect
