@Japhir - what you can do even now is have simple tags for Low Effort (Quick and Easy) and High Effort (long and difficult), This may perhaps be enough for your needs?
(Unfortunately you cannot see the tags in the list, so you cannot easily double-check them. and it definitely feels a bit scary to trust them, but you might want to give it a try.) -

@Folke: I currently use my tags to separate Private and non-private work. My default is no-tag=work, so that i don't have to tag most of my to do's. If I were to add Low and High Effort tags, I would also have to tag all my workrelated to-do's, resulting in much more to-do-adding-time needed.
I hope you understand this story ;). I would still vouch for a built-in timetag and am glad to see the developers respond to suggestions so rapidly. -

I would also like to have a time estimation field. I wish I could define it the same way I define context (no predefined and hard coded values). An energy level field would be great to have too. That's the GTD engine (besides contexts). -
