Hi doit.im team,

since 4.0 I experience a bug in the Mac OS X app which is bothering me.

When I create a new task (via CMD + N) and assign it to a project with a long project name, the project name gets cut off and instead a new project is created.

Here a step by step explanation:

1. Create new task by pressing "CMD + N". Task creation dialogue opens.
2. Typing in task title, tagging it, selecting context - everything is fine.
3. Typing the first couple letters of the project I want to select.
4. Project appears and I hit enter - nothing happens - field gets reset to blank
5. Trying again by typing project and double clicking on it. Now it looks like it worked. But when I save the task, a new project got created. It took the originally selected project name and cut it off after 35 characters.

The task creation dialogue itself doesn't show this issue since it always just shows a shortened project name.

It's a little difficult to explain so please let me know if you'd like to have more input.

Thanks,
Jan
