I would absolutely the same thing.
Integrating with Evernote is extremely important.
Can you give us an idea when this will happen please?
I personally asked for this feature about a year ago and I see that there are posts on the forum (http://help.doit.im/search/en/evernote?page=1) mentioning that you guys said you were working on supporting Evernote integration back in 2011.
All I want is to have an Evernote internal link like the one below be clickable.
evernote:///view/613140/s1/8abc658c-37fc-4bbf-bce7-b4e409e92c32/8abc658c-37fc-4bbf-bce7-b4e409e92c32/
I really love your product but I have to be honest - some of our requests don;t seem incredibly hard to implement but they sit waiting forever. Can we please get an honest answer as to when this might be implemented if at all?

Hi,
Sorry for making you waiting. It really in our developing plan. But I am sorry that I can not tell you the specific time. We are hiring more developers so solve this issue.
Shall you need any help or have additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact me back.
Thank you for your support!
Best regards,

Wendy,
I am sorry but you never give any answers; you just tell us to wait. I have been waiting for over a year and I have no update form the DoIt team; I am a paid customer and I would like a time frame. If you guys can't tell us that it is planned in the next day / week / month / year then I am not sure I want to continue to support the product.
Let me go on to say that I love your product and I would be sorry to leave it. I back my statement up with the idea that I am a paid customer for two years now. But the bottom line is that I am waiting for functionality that does not exist and I get no answer from the support team. -

Wendy,
DO you have a time frame for Evernote integration? -

@mkanakos
Hi,
We are designing this feature now. Sorry for making you be waiting. We will work harder.

I second all this, I renewed my membership because the app itself is great for the workflow side of GTD, but there absolutely *HAS* to be some way to store reference data (preferably evernote) coming up soon, the amount of people posting on this subject back me up too.
Please give a realistic timeframe as to when this will happen - it's the missing piece of the puzzle as far as GTD goes. -

You can already use evernote links as long as you use the regular web URL format (use a http://www.evernote.com link, not an evernote:// link).

@jamesbowen
Hi,
Thank you for your feedback.
It has been in our developing plan to offer some way to store reference data. Evernote will be the first one which we have completed designing.
Sorry that I can not tell you the specific date. Different versions may be competed on different dates.
Now please try the way Folk shared.
Best regards,

Hi, I have also been following this progress over the last 12 months. It is vital for my workflow so for now I will stay with the app I am currently using until this is implemented. Thanks

@Peterfg - which app is this, please? I'm getting quite tired of waiting for reference data to be incorporated.

The app I referred to is Todoist. If you are not familiar with it, it is very clean, fast and I find productive! Integrates extremely well with email (Outlook, Gmail). You can copy Evernote note links and past them into task notes. Clicking on these links will open the note in Evernote app. At first glance it may appear too limited, but is very effective.

Nirvanahq.com also has such clickable evernote: links (that open the evernote app) plus regular http: links, if you prefer.
Nirvana is more GTD friendly than Todoist.
Zendone.com has even more sophisticated Evernote integration (panes etc) and inbox processing, and so does IQTell.com. They are both more GTD friendly than Todoist.
Personally I do not need linked reference info or email processing features. They tend to bloat the app and take up too much of the developer's resources for my taste..

Thanks to both of you, I will check these out - a shame that the it's come to this but when we keep getting vague answers and half-baked evernote integration, eventually we will all look at alterntatives.
