Yes, I agree. You can use Scheduled for your GTD Ticklers, which is what I do. This is the most convenient way, considering the fact that you know that the vast majority of these ex-frozen tasks tend to end up as next actions (possibly even to be done today).
And then Doit also has the Reminders feature for "ticklers" in the everyday (non-GTD) sense. These are particularly useful for things that you already have on your Today list but want to make sure you do not miss. So I agree, this is all great.
What I think would be useful in addition to this, especially for those who also schedule some calendar actions via Doit's Scheduled, would be a clear distinction between scheduled GTD ticklers and scheduled GTD calendar actions, as the former generally requires no visibility on the graphical calendar (rather the contrary; it clutters the calendar) and also will not be overdue after the scheduled date has passed (unless it also happens to have a deadline that day), whereas a calendar action typically should be visible on the graphical calendar and most definitely will be overdue (too late; must be renegotiated etc) if the time has passed. I have the impression that Doit are considering implementing this distinction, which will increase Doit's usefulness even further.
Wow
I just want to let you know that I am very happy to have found Doit. Very few GTD applications allow you to do real GTD; most of them lack the ability to do Ticklers. Of course I upgraded to a Pro account after trying it for a few days. I hope you keep at it because I want to continue to use your service for a long time!
