Hi,
Do you mean that you do not want to see the completed and archived tasks in the filter?
Now you can view archived tasks only on web version in Completed box. Click the link to know the details:

Best regards,
Doit.im Team
I want to use it to track tasks for different construction trades.
I create tasks, connect it w/ a project, context, priority level and then tag it to the trade (example carpenters); attached screen shot.
I then created a filter search so I can search of the tags (example: carpenters) and have a list of tasks that need to be completed; attached screen shot
The Problem>>>>>>>>>>>>>
When I search the filter (example carpenters) there are archived items in my list and this irrelevant information doesn't help me it only adds confusion when we are reviewing task. How do I get rid of the completed tasks / archived tasks?
How do I access the archived tasks?
Thank you,
Chris

That's correct; I was using the filter to sort out work that needs to be complete and would prefer to see only active task; not the completed and archived tasks.
I use the web version primarily at my desk. I read the information about the archiver via your link. I do not write reports on what I completed and would prefer to not have archived items saved and or visible on my filters. When I complete a project I want it to go to the completed folder and then I want to delete them. Can I delete currently archived items so they do not show up on my filter searches?
Thanks,
Chris

Hi,
You can set it when you create the filter by selecting " uncompleted " in Status. See the pic in the attachment. -
