@konez - I don't know how to remove Goals. I don't even use the Windows version (it has always seemed less complete and reliable than the web version), but with the way I use the Goals the need to remove a goal from a task never really occurs:
I keep all my tasks in projects and all my projects in goals - a hierarchy. Of course, this then means that not all my projects and goals are true GTD projects and goals; some of them are just "containers" for GTD areas of responsibility or groups of such areas (such as Private and Business). But I am very satisfied with this setup and recommend it.
http://help.doit.im/group/topic/60 (using projects as AoR folders)
http://help.doit.im/group/topic/92 (using goals as "areas")
If I want to move a task to another project, then the goal will automatically be changed to the goal of the new project. If I want to move a whole project to another goal I just drag the project there.
How to remove goal from the task in Windows version
Hello Support
I have into interesting issue - I can add tasks/projects to goals using Windows doit.im Pro version, but I can not remove the goal assignment from the task later using Windows client. It works using Web version. Maybe I am doing something wrong?
Thanks in advance!
