Hi,
You can manual sort tasks in Doit Now. For tasks in Today, we think that the time and the context are more important for doing the tasks.

Very few tasks have a specific time. If you group your Today tasks by Context it can be very handy to be able to drag them into the most realistic order - even in between any time specific appointments etc that you may have on the list. And if you ever reintroduce the "Ungrouped" sorting mode, manual sorting would be very useful for that, too.
IMO, manual ordering is much much much more useful on the Today list than on the Next list. The Today list is short enough for you to have time to manually fiddle with the order of each individual task. For the longer lists, such as the Next list, it is much more essential to have a perfectly reliable and useful automatic sorting as a solid basis (and there could still be an option for occasional manual adjustment). -

Hi,
Thank you for your feedback.
In Today, context is important for you to choose right task to do. When you group by Start time,it is sorted by Context firstly, then Start time.
After you choose tasks which you are going to do right now to Doit Now,you can manual sort the tasks there.
Best regards,

Hi, thanks for the answers :).
However, I think that having more than 1 task in Doit now is not correct way of using that feature. Doit now should have only 1 task in a time. In other case - it's not "doit now" :)
Let me tell you my use case:
1. I have 10 task in Today
2. I do not have an exact time when I should do them. I should make them during the day
3. Some of them more important then others. So I have 4 tasks with high priority, 3 tasks with medium, 3 tasks with low
4. Among that 4 tasks some of them are more important. So, in order to sort them, I should use time(not useful in that case), or use doit now - I wrote why it's not suitable above
P.S. I think that it's better to have this feature than not to have :). Especially when you don't need to spend a lot of time implementing it as it was already done for some other folders.
Thanks :) -
