@MarcusRiedner
Hi,
"Jan" is short for "January". So in Smart Add,it will think that you want to add a task which starts on January automatically. Do you want to make this feature off? We need to improve this.
Best regards,
Doit.im Team
For example, if I write a task in the inbox:
Call Jan about working in her yard.
The task appears in the 2015 January task, NOT in the tasks inbox.
When I add it to 'today' or 'next' this does not happen.

Wendy, this goes back to my suggestion that we make a toggle turning smart dates on/off from within preferences.
Or Marcus can work with his client to pursue a legal name change. Though I recommend she not change her name to May or June. -

Hi,
We are considering your suggestion to make a toggle turning smart dates on/off from within preferences now. -

I had the same problem where I want a task to say "The deadline for x is dd/mm, and it use that date automatically.
I propose that in addition to toggling smart dates in preferences, you allow the use of "" to ignore smart dates.
So:
Call Larry about 7/11 -> Start the task on July 11
Call Larry about "7/11" -> Call Larry about (the store named) 7/11 -
