I guess I am lucky - I have never had to see it at all, nor do I want to, but if it is not "off" by default for everybody then I agree there should be such an option.
(I do not even need a daily planning screen as such - what is it for? I already have a Today list.).

On the desktop, I can't find a way to disable the daily planning reminder. It's annoying to have to close it every day. Can you please add an option? Thanks.
