Maybe I'm missing something, but in the windows version, I see no button or other UI control to pop up the smart add in box. This is crucial for me. This smart add in box is what sets doit.im apart from all the competition, especially on android (so comfy to have it right in the notifications area, genius idea). I use this box all the time and here I am not being able to pop it up on a tablet. One needs to attach a keyboard (if available) and pop ctrl+alt+n combination to bring it up...

Luckily, in the settings, there's a control for smart input box shortcut key combination. Windows 8 stock virtual keyboard has the ability to inject key combinations like ctrl+something. After changing the combination from ctrl+alt+n to to ctrl+m, I have no words to express how happy I am to see this good ol' smart input box again..

But in case there's really no UI control for popping-up smart add in box, you might want to consider adding that missing button. I was confused by this behaviour, someone else might have missed this simple workaround at all.
