The updated ios 7.1 app has the following usability issue:
* Much slower (compared to the older doit.im HD under ios 5/6)
* No longer has those on-screen shortcuts to quickly categorize a task to TODAY, DO it NOW
* Doesn't support scrolling (previous next task) any more.
Because of these, it is a major productivity setback. The interface might look nicer (which isn't that obvious), but the user experience is much worse.
I have a separate post on some of my ideas on what the ios / android app could improve in terms of productivity and usability.

>> Not just the lightning but also the star. I felt it much easier to use that way.

A: Do you want it to be back?
>> Absolutely. It is much faster to scroll through the inbox and then use the star / lightning shortcut button below to quickly categorize the task items. Such workflow is totally gone in the new version. Combined with the slow performance, productivity really suffers. -

Hi,
Q: >> Not just the lightning but also the star. I felt it much easier to use that way.
A: You can use move to to move the task to today and other focus.

A: We will consider your suggestion seriously. Later we will add a feature Process in Inbox which has been released on Mac and Windows version. Hope it would help you process the tasks in inbox.
Thank you for your support!

Thanks.
Again i hope my suggestion on usability at this post (as well as another one related) comes across. I found the more advanced gesture system (used natively in iOS 7 by its mail app and others), as well as the even more advanced gesture system in dropbox's Mailbox app to be a great feature to have in doit.im's newly designed iOS7 app moving forward.
Hopefully this give the dev team some new ideas about how to make organizing tasks more efficient (less clicks and view changes) when designing the Process feature, and improving the current system as well.
Thanks. -
