I found the most important feature for doit.im app running under ios/android would be to quickly categorize tasks into different project / contexts.
I'd highly recommend the more advanced gesture system introduced by Mailbox (developed by Dropbox). They essentially used two-way swipe combined with long-short, to have four gesture-based commends.
These can directly apply to doit.im interface to quickly put tasks to project / context and time frames.
Though without advanced gestures, in older version I could at least easily scroll between tasks and use the on-screen shortcut buttons to assign tasks to today / do it now. In ios 7 version however, this is impossible now. The iOS version used to be superior than the Android version because of that, but now it is even worse.
