Hi again,
is there any progress with this issue? I use doit.im practicaly 10 hours/day nonstop and this issue is quite frequent. I guess it appears each time you update the application.
Normally on desktop PC I have Doit.im persistently opened. After a long time (can be hours) this problem appears - it happens 3-8 times per week.
Suggested fix: If logout is forced you may store user's unsaved ticked to the local storage and continue seamlessly after login. -

Well, I am you user for many years in this is one and maybe only issue which drives me crazy each time I see it. ;)
Let me explain my workflow. I use multiple devices (personal computer, office computer, personal notebook, tablet and phone). Everywhere I use Doit.im to collect my notes, tasks etc. On my computers I use browser version of Doit.im and have it open in a pinned tab all the time. This issue happens at least one day but there are days I can see it several times. I suspect it can appear if you update your software, right?
It should be somehow doable to "remember" where I was when session expired and I was forced to logged in again. Then the Doit.im could offer to resume my work after successful login - just to continue where I finished.
At this moment I have to create new record again, because application forgets it when I can see attached session expiration message.
What do you say? ;)

@krux Hi there, now we can not reproduce this problem and your account is ok. Does this problem just occur on the web version? I would suggest you change your network environment to check.

yes the problem is still there (the last one occurs couple of minutes ago).
It affects only web version and only if you use the web app instantly (without closing it and closing the browser). Hope these steps may help to reproduce the problem.
1. Start a web browser (I use Google Chrome, Linux - Ubuntu)
2. Open https://i.doit.im/, login and PIN the tab (to avoid closing it accidentally)
3. Start working with your Doit - add new records, complete them, etc.
4. Wait for a longer time (couple of hours or until the next day)
5. Go to step 3 again until the problem happens.
Somewhere between step 3 and 5 somehting happens. I guess you probably deploy a new version which requires a news login. Or I am redirected to some different node (if you use CDN or cloud) and my session is missing, etc.
Linjiani - I had no clue that you required my feedback. What about to bind bug report system with doit itself? Some kind of moji notification or something informative that my feedback is needed (it is possible I have overlooked an e-mail from you).
Hope you find the source of bug. Except this problem and slownes from time to time I am really satisfied using your service.

We've checked and found maybe the problem is caused because you haven't checked 'Remember me' when logging in. The system would log out after a certain period of being untouched so as to protect your account. But it would always keep logging in if you choose 'Remember me'.

Kassy, this is definitely not the case. I DO have checked "Remember me" checkbox and there is no certain period of being untouched.
The issue happend right this moment again. Here is the case. I am using my workstation from 9:00 CET and updated doit.im records since than 10-15 times. Right know at 11:01 CET I got the error. After refresh a login window opened, I clicked login and I can continue to work. -

We've tried to test but still haven't made it reappear. So we thought of the browser setting. If your browser is set to ( or by default) regularly remove your cookie, then your doit.im may be logged out. Could you please check your browser setting since it has been tested by four persons of us but none has made if reappear?

Hi Kassy,
I have standard Google Chrome with default settings. I don't delete cookies.
The logout issue happens during a working day. For instance today I am working since 8:00 CET. My Doit.im opened in one tab - adding reocords etc. I have just finished a meeting and add another record to Doit. It failed with logout info (see comment #4 for screenshot). I logged again and Doit works as usual since then.
Is there anything I can provide to help resolve the issue?
