Synchronization on startup makes app unusable

Platform:androidVersion:4.0.12
On a start up doit.im app tries to synchronize, which takes a sensitive period of time, on which application becomes unresponsive and unusable. Can you, please, make a synchronization in background, so we can continue to work with our list of tasks. Sometimes, we are offline, sometimes, we just want to look and work with tasks.

Hi,
For free account,it will not auto sync when you open the app or during you are using the app unless you manual sync it. Does this happen when you log in or after you try to manual sync? -

Hello, this happens only on app startup, I do not try to sync manually. When I click on a doit.im icon, a list with tasks appears and there are a "loading" icon in the middle, I cannot do anything with tasks, until this icon disappears. I think app does something in this moment (maybe tries to sync, or loads tasks from its local database, etc, I don't know). -

I found a workaround for this: I open app, it shows a loading icon, I tap a home button (minimize all) and again tap an app. -
