Hi Veniamin,
I guess it's not a GTD way, but your intuition is correct. In David Allen's GTD there are no child tasks, instead we use projects to group sequences of tasks. The project in GTD language is an outcome that needs two or more physical actions to complete. You are right, there are some tasks dependent on the completion of another task in a project. I propose adding a "planned" state for tasks ( http://help.doit.im/topics/3275 ). I think it would be more in line with GTD methodology.
Parent & child tasks
Hi!
First of all, thank you for your system - it's great, I use it every day for many tasks and projects.
But there's a feature I miss so much: parent and child tasks.
Often it isn't possible to set time for the task, because it depends on the end of another task. So it'll be great if we could set a parameter for the task (child task) after wich task it is to start (parent task). Then the start time for the child task set "next" when the task is created, and when the parent task is set "done" - the child task start time is automatically set "tomorrow".
Hope you can make this feature.
Thank you in advance.
