I noticed that the deleted repeating task did not get created for a few days after I report this issue and deleted all instance of the task, but once I open my Windows desktop app, it started getting created again.

I have noticed this problem on the iPad version, even with non-repeating tasks.
(But the web version and iPhone version both seem to work.)

We think that this problem is caused by the windows client. Please complete syncing on windows client, log out and re-log in to have a try.

Note: If you do not complete syncing on windows client,the local data will be lost when you log out.
