Calendar View of Scheduled Tasks No Longer Working (Thunderbird 17.0.8, Ubuntu 12.04 LTS)

Hi,

I for the first time noticed that I can no longer view my Scheduled tasks in the Calendar view when running http://i.doit.im in a tab within Mozilla Thunderbird 17.0.8 running on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (64-bit).

I CAN see the Calendar view when visiting http://i.doit.im within Mozilla Firefox 23.0 (same platform).

Expected behaviour:

Clicking on the Calendar view button shows the calendar view.

Actual behaviour:

Nothing happens (i.e,. no effect at all of pressing the button).

Hi wendy_only!

I use the Muttator plugin to open a tab to visit http://i.doit.im. The Muttator plugin is rather unimportant, however, as Thunderbird supports browser tabs natively, and is what is used to view individual messages. Plugins like Muttator and ThunderBrowse open up access to, and often enhance, this underlying API, but for the discussion here, the only thing these plugins are doing is taking a single URL string as an argument and then passing that argument along to some internal function (e.g., openTab(url)).

Regardless, I am happy to report that the problem seems to be no longer present. I had to clear both Firefox and Thunderbird's cache's recently (to fix a completely unrelated problem), so that's my best guess as to why.
