One thing you can do is use subtasks. For example, create the task "Buy groceries" and then add "milk", "butter" etc as subtasks. Or just write them as task notes aka description - sometimes simpler if you only have a few items.
Another approach is to use a project for the list, but either make it Someday or Inactive. I personally seldom use that approach.
What I would like to have is a "clone to today/next" feature, which would allow me to keep long lists of related items for future use - possibly as an Inactive project - and would allow me to mark a few, and then just click "clone" to get the selected ones copied as a new task with subtasks (without destroying or changing the original list). This would allow me to make new grocery lists very quickly. The original list would also serve as a checklist of possible things that I might need to buy.
Constructive Feedback: Needs lists
Hey doit team. Really like what you're doing so far. I've been using wunderlist and am really liking how tasks added to my projects show up in the next tab automatically. I feel like this app needs list functionality though. What if I want to create a grocery list that I keep for general purposes but don't want it to show up on my next actions list. Where can I do something like that on this app.
