Hello,
Thank you for your feedback.
We feel so sorry, but we may consider it in the future.
Now, only on the web/windows/mac version can you create filter boxes. On the iPad, you can filter tasks from the current box.

Thank you for your feedback and support.
In use, I assign a context as a person who is doing the task, I then assign a meeting name where the action came from or needs an update for as a tag. I can use filters but these only apply to the current view. Ideally I would like to be able to apply multiple contexts to each task, but I'm having to mix contexts and tags which is proving difficult.
If tags behaved like contexts I could just use these instead of contexts altogether.
On the ipad there is no way to set up a filter so I end up having to trawl through all of the views to find the appropriate tasks for each meeting.
Thanks for a great app!

Yes, that's part of the problem. Unless I've set up the tag filter on the web app I can't use it on the ipad. It's not ideal and the layout on the ipad is messy as a result of the use filters.

@vchaney
Tags in Doit.im are mainly used to filter tasks. Have you watched the video I gave you?

Only tags used in tasks contained in the current box would be seen in the tag filter rows; by choosing more than one tag for filtering, you'll get tasks with both/all these tags. On iPad, tap on the "Tag" icon at the bottom action bar and you’ll see the "Tags" page. On the “Tags” page, you can check a tag or multiple tags, and then tap on the “Filter” button. Lastly, tasks with the tag(s) you've selected will be showed in front of you.
And just as you said, now you can create a filter on the web version and then make it showed on iPad.
As for treating tags like contexts, we've made a record of it and may take it into account in the future.
Thank you for your feedback and support.
