I would like to have a setting "New Tasks standard 'all-day'? Y/N".
Most of the tasks I enter, are NOT all-day-tasks.
But, in Doit.im, all new tasks are marked standard as "all-day"
So either: turn the all-day setting off, default
or
make a preference in the settings "new tasks default all-day?"
Thank you.

The way I understand it, "all-day" in Doit is just an expression for an "unspecific" time of day. It refers to "scheduled" actions, since normal actions do not have a date at all in GTD. I agree it looks a bit funny to see "all-day" filled in for everything, but it does really not do any harm, as far as I have noticed (or maybe it looks funny if you use the calendar view?).
In GTD, if a task has an objective "start date" defined, it is usually what GTD calls a "tickler" date = "first possible/relevant date" (e.g. buy Christmas tree, possible say from Dec 15 onwards), or it is a "calendar" date, e.g. an exact date/time for an agreed appointment. In GTD there is no such thing as "scheduled". Doit really has created some big challenges for itself by trying to be good for both GTD and for "time scheduling" - but you are doing reasonably well despite all the contradictions! -
