Basically, I very much admire the Doit team for having tried and succeeded so well in combining two utterly different, almost totally opposite, methodologies, namely GTD and Time Planning.
It is like combining judo and swimming in one app! Almost impossible, but the Doit team have managed quite well!
Daily Plan: add features for timing
Basically, I would like the Daily Plan to have the same features from the Android App "Plan My Day" by Klaus Reger:
- Manual sorting of tasks
- Ability to set a start and end hour for your workday
- Tasks get sorted automatically based on the time allotted
- You can 'start' a task and a timer starts, you can also pause/resume and 'finish' a task
As an alternative solution: a way to export the "Daily Plan" to Google Calendar, so it can easily be imported in the PlanMyDay app.

@Folke
Sure, I think Doit.Im is absolutely great and this isn't a deal breaker for me.
But I did find that working with a time estimated in combination with a timer works really well for the daily tasks you are committed to. -

@woutercox I am sorry. I guess I was being ironic. For me it would suffice if Doit catered for GTD (and did it even better). I do not believe in all this time planning stuff.
