Goal features I miss

Hi,

As @Celita972, @ramilcano and @folke commented in other posts, I miss several features in Goals. The most important are:

1) See tasks under proyect in a goal: When I look into a goal, I need to see all the tasks associated, grouped by project.

2) Group goals in stacks o areas, and be able to swith off professional goals for example when I'm on holidays.

Do you plan to solve this issues. If so, when?

These features have not been in our developing plan yet. We will consider them seriously.

Q: 1) See tasks under proyect in a goal: When I look into a goal, I need to see all the tasks associated, grouped by project.
A: Now the task manage line is Goal - Project - Task - Subtask. So the tasks under the project will not be showed directly under the goal.

Q: 2) Group goals in stacks o areas, and be able to swith off professional goals for example when I'm on holidays.
A: Do you want to make Goal be active and inactive that similar to the project?

Sorry if I have misunderstood, but I thought you had said earlier that a "goal view", containing all the projects and tasks in the goal, is one of the very next few improvements on your agenda. Did I misunderstand that?

Anyway, such a goal view - all tasks and projects under the goal selected in the left menu - would be a very useful feature. In fact, the existing goal feature is not worth much without that capability.

Thanks Wendy,
Switching off projects and adding the possibility to see all tasks of a goal under projects would be great (=focusing by areas)

I've been thinking about your proposal:

A: Do you want to make Goal be active and inactive that similar to the project?

This would be perfect for me. I handle a lot of projects so this way I would be able focus by areas (switching off the ones I'm not interested in at a certain moment).

What do you think @folke ?

Yes, that would make it very consistent. And it would be very handy, too, to be able to temporarily "switch off" some Goals.
