Hi,
Do you mean that the information can not be synced succesufully when you manual sync and automatic sync?
Could you please send me the local log by private comments? The default path is: C:\Users\Wendy\AppData\Roaming\Doit.im\bin\logs
Note: Change " Wendy" to your own PC username
Best regards,
Doit.im Team
They appear on the browser version, but not on the desktop version.
However I can update a task on the desktop version (eg mark it as high importance) and it appears on the web version.
The only way to update desktop version is to close and re-open the program :/

yup, it doesnt automatically sync... AND it doesnt sync when you hit the refresh button either. Only when you close out of the program and then restart it.
I'll send you the logs

Hi,
After checking the log,we do not find any errors.
Could you please hit the refresh button and then send us the logs? It will help us if you could send us the logs for the days that you have this problem.

Ok, so just to test this.. i have added a new task on my phone (titled 'New Test Task') (using smart add function)
After about 10 minutes and lots of refreshing it finally showed up in the browser edition (a bit long if you ask me but at least it was there eventually)
Hitting refresh on the desktop app does nothing - no new tasks in the inbox.
If i restart the program, it will appear but i havent done that yet as I wanted to wait a bit longer, refresh more and then save the logs for submission

Hi,
There are errors in the log.
"The remote name could not be resolved: 'api.doit.im'"
It seems to be network error. Please try to ping 'api.doit.im' to have a check.
If you could not connect to 'api.doit.im', please add "54.249.250.77 api.doit.im" to your host to have a try.
Shall you need any help, please be free to feedback.

yeah, but it works when you restart the program (not the computer... just the program)
So the issue isnt with the netwok. That doesnt change -

Hi,
Do you mean that you still can not complete syncing after you add the IP to host?
Please send me the result when you ping to 'api.doit.im'. You can send me the screenshot of the result and send it to me by private comments. We will check it further.

So... I've added a new task in the browser version. It does NOT show up in desktop version.(even after I refresh it)
Ping api.doit.im is getting through fine (0% loss)
Refreshing the desktop app does not do anything
HOWEVER.. if i add a new project in browser - it appears in desktop app after a refresh
Still no sign of the new task though

to be honest... it doesnt really matter to me if there are errors in the logs or not. The reality is that the desktop app doesnt synchronise properly!
I will update and test -

I am having the same issue, running on Windows 8.1. The desktop app running on Windows 7 on the same network does not have this problem.
Updating the app did not solve the problem.
