Oh. The best thing about that is:
It is not even possible to view the focus of a task without opening the tasks details!!!
This eliminates the use of filters pretty much.
Is there a way to do that, or when will there be one?

Hi,
Thank you for your feedback.
Q: When creating a filter I can't set the focus of the task.
A: It is not supported yet. You can view the tasks in Focus directly at the left panel.
Q: It is not even possible to view the focus of a task without opening the tasks details!!!
A: Do you mean that you want to view the focus information on the task bar? How do you think if you can group the list by Focus?
Best regards,

In the list shown in the attached screenshot (created by a filter) are listed "Someday"and "Waiting" tasks, but there is no way for me to see, that they are not a to do at the moment unless I open them one by one.
That makes the whole filter pointless, because it is supposed to show me tasks I can do under certain circumstances (at home, alone {where I also have telephone and internet}).
For me it is obvious that your developers don't work with filters and GTD themselves. I encourage you to read or listen to "Getting Things Done" again and have a review of your software. It just doesn't follow the GTD principle though it promises it. The main thing in GTD is to filter out stuff, you don't need to think about right now. Therefore in a GTD software, filtering is THE most important thing! -

Hi,
How do you think about that you can group the task by Focus and you can see the context and project information on the task bar? -

Hi,
sorry, I was on vacation and then forgot about that discussion.
That does sound like a good first step. But ultimately I wouldn't want to see unneeded tasks. Filtering out unneeded information is used in GTD for relieving your mind. If you can still see it though you cannot do anything about it, it can still cause stress in your brain.
Also if I sort by focus, I cannot sort by context.
This is how working of a GTD list should look like:

And I want a list of widgets to crank, sorted by the type of crank used. :)

I totally agree it would be very useful to be able to see the "focus" ("box") graphically in the list in order to be able to use any grouping of the list.
I also agree it would be very useful to be able to include/exclude selected "boxes" when filtering.
For example, I would like to be able to create a filter that shows me all high/medium priority tasks from Next actions and Waiting For actions (other people's Next actions that are essential for me that they get done), and all Today tasks regardless of priority and "box", in one single list and have it grouped by Context (or sometimes deadline, sub-sorted by priority). I would then like to see easily for each task which "box" it lives in, without having to open each task.
For example, a high priority Waiting For task is something I might need to get "delivered" to me any moment, so I need to stay reachable/available etc, whereas a high priority Next action is something I might need to get started on straight away myself. The "box" matters a lot for what I actually need to do about the task.
