@spirosag
Hi,
Do you mean that you do not want completed tasks to be showed in GCal? You could set it on web version.
First, log in to Doit.im for Web. Second, go to Preferences - Account Info. On the page that comes up, check the checkbox in front of the sentence, Delete the event that appears on Google Cal but has been marked as "Completed" in Doit.im.
More details: http://faq.doit.im/web.html#120
Shall you need any help or have additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact me back.
Thank you for your support!
Best regards,
Doit.im Team

To delete calendar events is even less acceptable than marking them.
The calendars are often shared with others, and it is not acceptable either to delete their entries nor to mark them in any way. Even in my own personal calendars I want to keep the events as a journal of when I had what appointment with whom. I do not want these appointments marked or deleted just because I completed them.
I think what is required is a "intelligent read-only import mode" of the GCal calendar events - e.g. that I can see each new calendar event in Doit's inbox and can decide if I want to participate or not. Regardless of whether I participate or not, and regardless of whether I check it off or delete it in Doit, I want the event to stay totally intact in the calendar - only disappear forever in my Doit lists (unless maybe if I explicitly decide to somehow manually re-import this action) - I do not want to have to ignore/decline the same event over and over. -

@wendy_only no I mean I don't want the completed events to cjange their name from "event" to "√ event"

@spirosag
Hi, do you have any good ideas to distinguish completed tasks in gcal? -

@fangmenjia
I know it was not I who got the question, but anyway:
No marking is required. The date of those appointments is in the past, and they are even dimmed a bit by Google. There is no reason to doubt that you have completed the appointment (or possibly missed it completely).
In the special Doit calendar it probably does not matter so much how you mark these things (or delete them). The problem is with calendar actions in other GCal calendars. It is not OK to tamper with those. Neither marking them with √ or anything at all nor deleting them is acceptable, because:
1) Other people may still want to see this event (and attend it) even if I decide not to
2) I want to keep a record of my meetings in the calendar (as a journal to refer back to)
I hope you find that makes sense.
