No, this is not possible using the sync functionality, but you can create a workaround using email.
What you CAN do with the sync features is:
1) simply ignore the Doit.im calendar on GCal (because, as you imply, it contains a lot of rubbish that you do not want to see on your calendar)
2) enter you real appointments (and any other true calendar events) directly on one of your "real" GCal calendars and let it sync back to Doit. (These will automatically be tagged with GCal in Doit.) You need to set up the desired GCal calendars for "reverse sync" in Doit.
Major caveat: The syncing unfortunately will still be two-way, not one-way, and this means that if you delete or complete these "reverse synced" actions in Doit you may have a major problem. I personally want to retain all my appointments in GCal as a journal even after they are completed. And with shared calendars it is even worse. I obviously do not want to delete or checkmark meetings etc that other people need to attend to even if I personally will not attend.
So, I cannot really not use Doit's calendar sync for anything useful at all. So, here is my solution:
What I do instead is use email as a workaround. I have set up my various GCal calendars to send an email reminder 15 hours in advance, and have have set up my email account to auto-forwarding these email reminders from my mail account to the Doit mail inbox. In this way I can trash or change any of these tasks as I please in Doit without ever destroying any of the original information.
I totally agree with you that a one-way "import sync" would be a useful feature.
One way Sync with Google Calendar
I was syncing my Google calendar and Doit and have noticed that all my tasks from Doit are showing up as events on my google calendar. Since, any task that is time or day specific, i would enter in Google calendar. From there, I would only want my google calendar appointments to show up on doit. Is this possible for a one way sync, from google calendar to doi?

This is a real pain. My only real gripe after 18 months of daily use.
