Why did you decide to release, the design not finish the web interface? Where work with color and fills? These icons thin and small fonts. Was just a worthless white canvas. Ease of use was very low, only because of the design. Just look through her lashes (picture 01)! At a minimum, add the filling (picture 02).
Now in the Android interface design, an order of magnitude better than the new web interface (picture 03).
I like the current design better than your suggestion using grey background for groups. Without it it looks more clean, and you can still distinguish groups easily.
