Hi,
Did you do as follows?
In the Edit task page, click on " Edit more " and select "Tag", then click on "New Tag" in the tag list to enter a new tag, press the Enter key on your keyboard to complete the addition.
Could you please tell me the steps that you add the new tag?
Please tell me the brand and type of your device and the system version if convenient to you.
Best regards,
Doit.im Team

I have done exactly as you advise, and no tag is added.
I am using a Motorola Droid turbo running Android 5.1
Any thoughts would be welcomed.

@D___ Hi there,
For the web version, you can add tags in the "Tags" filed. All the tags which have ever been saved will be kept in Tag management See the details as below: http://faq.doit.im/web.html#52
For the android version, in the Edit task page, click on " Edit more " and select "Tag", then click on "New Tag" in the tag list to enter a new tag, press the Enter key on your keyboard to complete the addition. Click the link to learn more: http://faq.doit.im/android_4.html#57
We have checked your account and it's alright. And we added a today task named "test" with the new tags "test" and "Testtest" in our background system. You can check the new tags.
