Hi,

When you add tasks in Today viewing page, the start time will be Today as default.
Do you mean that you want to have these set as default in Preferences?

@wendy_only Indeed, when adding tasks from Today the date is 'Today'. I was referring to the quick-add window / dialog (this applies to adding tasks from the widget).

In general, the option to set default new task values is a useful thing. I've noticed this in many other apps in the past, e.g. Toodledo, Remember The Milk or 2Do (doesn't exist in Todoist or Any.do, for example). I know this adds to the complexity, but is especially useful for quick add windows or adding tasks via e-mail.

I strongly agree with wendy_only. Being able to set default values as a preference is a very helpful feature and available in other task managers. For instance, I don't like having "All Day" as the default time when I add a new task. Also, I might want to set a default priority, or default folder, for new tasks. I hope you will add this feature in future releases.

I need to agree that "New task, default settings" is a very useful suggestion, maybe it's rejected before, i will reported it again.
But now we have limited engineers, so it will take a while. We are sorry about that.
