Hi,
This is a very simple request, but would be a big help to me.
I routinely mistype ^Someday as @Someday, which obviously does not do what I desire: It creates a new context for my new task, as opposed to saying that I want this task to be done "Some day". I think it would be a simple and helpful feature to warn about such conditions. Specifically, in the present version, this would mean anyone submitting a tasks with @Today, @Next, @Tomorrow, @Inbox, @Someday, or @Waiting in it would be warned that they probably mean the caret version instead (i.e,. ^Today, ^Next, ^Tomorrow, ^Inbox, ^Someday, or ^Waiting) in a dialog box with an OK button and a checkbox to not show such warning in the future that most people would likely leave unchecked. (This in turn requires a additional setting in preferences somewhere to be able to restore the warning if desired.)
A simply change that I think would be most helpful regarding a minor annoyance due to the number of symbols one must keep in mind (@#^&!) when using quick entry.
Thanks,
Doug
On further reflection, I think the pop-up dialog box should have TWO buttons: Correct and Ignore, with "Correct" being dominant and the default selection.
