Android box badge widget broken after latest update

Hi,

Since the latest Android update the 'Box Badge' widget no longer works. It is on the home screen, but it does not do anything when pushed. I removed and re-installed the widget but that did not help. The other widgets and the app itself still work.

My Android version is 4.4.4 on a Sony Z3 compact phone.
