@OliLef
Hi,
Thank you for your feedback!
Could you please tell me in which version you find this issue? Where did you mark the task as completed?
Best regards,
Doit.im Team
Sometimes I forget to mark a task as completed the day I achieve it. When I mark the task as completed the next day, the completion date is today.
I would like to have the possibilty of modifying the completion date (in the 'Completed' view or when marking the task) so that I can keep trace of my activities.
This is the only thing that makes me hesitate about buying the software.
Thanks for your work.

Hi,
Thank you for your answer.
I found this issue in both Web version and Android version (Doit.me for Android).
The task was planned and performed 2014-11-22. I forgot to mark it as completed.
2014-11-23, the task was still in the 'Today' view. I marked it as completed from this view.
In 'Completed' view, when grouping tasks by completion date, the task was showned in the 'Today' tab (2014-11-23) which is not the completion date.
Note:
In this view, there is another date indicated below the task. This is the 'Start time'. It can be edited and might be used as a completion date, but I would prefer it remains 'Start time' so that I can keep trace of the date the task was planned to be done
What I would like is the possibility of changing the completion date (in the 'Completed' view or when marking the task) so that I can keep trace of my schedule.
Even, Doit.me could monitor delays thanks to the 'Start time' and the actual completion date.
Best regards.

@OliLef
Hi,
You could edit the Start time.
The completion is the time that you complete the task.
The tasks are grouped by completion time in Completed box.
Do you mean that you want the completion time to be the same as the start time? What do you think if you really do not do the task on the start date?
Best regards,

Hi,
I agree the completion is the time that I complete the task.
I mean that completion date is false when I mark the task as completed the day after I did it.
Using 'Start time' as a completion date in the completed view doesn't seem to be interesting to me.
Especially because when the task is marked as completed, the 'Start time' doesn't necessarily come to be the actual completion date.
Let's take a example :
I plan a task for 2014-11-22,
I do the task 2014-11-24 (I did not change the 'Start time' as the task is still in 'Today' view. It's fine to me) but I forget (or I'm not able) to mark it as completed,
I do the action of marking the task as done on 2014-11-25 (Doit.me saves this date as the completion date),
As a result, the completion date is false (it should be 2014-11-24) and the 'Start time' (2014-11-22) doesn't indicate the completion date.unless I edit it.
In that case I would prefer to edit the completion date directly.
In my opinion, one cannot give different meanings to a database field :
'Start time' is the date I plan a task,
Completion date is the day the task is done,
Deadline is the due date,
....
But it's only my opinion.
I hope it will help.
Best regards
Oli
