I can't use your product if it drains my phone battery so much.

@marianomx Hi there, how much battery did Doit.im use on your phone? And could you please tell us your device model and the system version? We have to check.

I'm on a nexus 5 with marshmallow and it also eats my battery like that's it's job. Is there an easy workaround? Love your app!

Sure. I'm running Android 6.0.1, kernel version 3.4.0-gd22e409.
Not positive which version of doit.im I was running, as I had to uninstall after it ate 30% of my battery in a couple hours (screen shot attached) and killing my battery by lunchtime. However, I installed it last week if that helps and I'm betting it's Doit.im for Android 4.4.5. It says last updated May 10, 2015. Surely that can't be right? -

FWIW, I did some searching here and noticed a thread regarding a battery tuning / task killing app. I had one installed that killed tasks when my phone went to sleep. I'm betting that was probably causing the issue.
I've since purchased a new phone, the Nexus 6P and it's running great. -

@gr8routdoors
It seems that manually closing running apps doesn't help battery life ( A myth recently debunked by both Apple and Google) .
In fact, closing an app can even very slightly damage battery life. You can also try to remove unnecessary widgets from the home screen. Certainly, we will have a new version on October to improve this issue.
