Google Cal sync issues

Hi there,
I love DoIt! I'm having an issue with syncing my DoIt account and my Google Calendars. I have 14 calendars I view or edit, but I only need to set up the two-way sync for 3 of these calendars. I've tried several times, but ALL the calendars show up as tasks on my DoIt iPhone app as well as on my Doit tasks when I access my account online via my computer. Help - I don't want to have tasks on my business partner's personal calendar show up on my lovely DoIt list of tasks!

Hi,

Do you mean that the tasks in the screenshot are not from the calendars that you select? Do you ever select the calendars which these tasks belong to?

If you select these calendars before, and the tasks have been synced to Doit.im from Google Calendar, these tasks will not be disappeared when you removed the calendars.

Thanks for your response! Yes, the tasks in that screenshot are NOT from calendars I've selected, but they remain on my DoIt tasks- very frustrating! I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app several times, unsynced my Google cal several times, no luck.

I'm a little confused by your question, "Do you ever select the calendars which these tasks belong to?" If you mean to ask if I have selected those calendars to view in the past: When I first set up the GoogleCal sync, all calendars were automatically added during the process. So I deselected the ones I don't want to see. I will never want to see the ones I have selected now, and I never have. Some of them are not mine, but I have viewing access (like my business partner's calendar). Now, ALL tasks from my business partner's calendar, which I do not have access to edit, including recurring tasks, are showing up on my DoIt. Does that make sense?

In regards to your comment, "If you select these calendars before, and the tasks have been synced to Doit.im from Google Calendar, these tasks will not be disappeared when you removed the calendars." ... I'm confused. I did not select those calendars, but it sounds like they will permanently be in my Doit.im tasks?! Is there no way to fix this issue? Some of these calendars have events that are recurring with no end date! Yikes, I'm not sure I can use the app if this is not fixable.

It looks like it's just an internal error - as you can see in my screenshot, it SAYS only 3 calendars are synced. So why are all showing up?

A: They won't permanently be in your Doit.im tasks. Tasks scheduled within 30 days can be synced to Doit.im when you click on the G icon. Do you mean that there are still new tasks synced from Google calendars which you do not select after you delete them?

Yep.

Um.. not quite sure the first time I did this, but I've done it several times now - deselected all, unsynced Google Cal, resynced Google Cal and selected just the calendars I'd like to see..

Yes, including recurring tasks on calendars I have not selected, and I don't know how to get rid of them..

Hi,

Do you mean that there are still new events synced from GCal to Doit.im after you cancel select the calendar in preferences on web version?

Could you please tell me the calendar name and the task name by private comments?
