Hi,
If you are always on line, you could use web version. You could use windows version when you are off line and on line. There are not many differences between them.
Windows version is only for Pro users. As you are Pro, you could install the windows app to have a try.
Best regards,

Is there any benefits / limitations to using the windows client instead of the web client?
Am I missing any features by using the web client at home instead of windows client?

Web client have function for create filters or advanced searchs. Windows client don't have this function
In web client, you have option to sort filters by name if example i have filters sorting by:
00·Focus
00·Start tomorrow
01·Delegated to...
02·Delegated to...
03·Delegated to...
04·High energy
05·Middle energy
06·Low energy
....
in windows client, the filters don't appear sorted.
Web version is the most functional app -

Apart from minor differences that appear accidental rather than intentional, the web app is the same as the desktop apps for Windows and Mac. As @wendy_only correctly says, the desktop apps can be used offline. And they are also much faster; they load and reload faster when you change views etc, which makes them more pleasant to use. Unfortunately they also seem to be more buggy.
I would advise the developers to take a look at Nirvana, which only has one version - a web app that is lightning-fast and reliably offline-capable - all in one. Having it all in one single app eliminates the unnecessary duplication of programming work (and also makes it less confusing for users).
