Edit task is extremely slow

When I right click a task in order to change the priority of the task, it takes a long time (towards 10 sec) from the overlay window appears until the edit window appears. It seems as though one or more server requests take a long time. This problem as occurred within the last week or so

I use doit.im both from home and from my company network. I found out that the problem seems to be browser specific. Up until now I have been using Google Chrome without any problems. About a week ago the problem started occurring in Google Chrome. Yesterday, Monday, I tried doit.im in Firefox and Safari, and in none of those browsers does the problem occur.
Here is a transcript of the ping of doit.im:

Hi,
I will use FIrefox/Safari in the future. I didn't install any plugins to my Chrome browser. It remains a mystery to me why doit.im became extremely slow on Chrome all of a sudden. Thanks for your help.
