Actually, now that I've looked at this a little more, I think this behavior is limited to when I access my inbox from the Inbox widget. While an argument could be made that the widget is intended to be used only for accessing the inbox, the fact that you can readily navigate to any other time view but not Today leads me to believe this isn't actually the intended behavior.
Inbox-Today Navigation Bug
Using Doit for Android 4.4.4 on Android 5.5, if I view my Inbox, touching Today appears to change views, but it's my Inbox again. If I visit a different time view, such as Tomorrow, and then touch Today, it navigates properly to Today. I have not been able to navigate successfully from my Inbox to Today in at least three or four days since I updated to Android 5.5. This was not a problem prior to the OS update.

Hi,
Sorry for this issue.
What cell phone model do you use now?
The problem is when you access inbox from the Inbox widget, then you can't readily navigate to Today box, right ?
Thank you for your feedback!

Hi. It's on a Samsung Note 3.
When accessing from Inbox widget I cannot navigate to Today, though I can navigate to any other time-based view and then go to Today. -
